Camping Gear

The current discussions on what to do to solve the world’s feared food shortage seem to lead to a back-to-the-soil strategy, inasmuch as no genius has yet come up with something like the computer with regard to the production of food. If only somebody like Bill Gates can come up with a workable idea like how to plant trees and other vegetative plants even while just sitting before a computer, maybe it will be easy to solve the food shortage problem now. However, this is not so in the field of agriculture so that it will really be back to the farm for everybody, if we hope to remove the prospects of world hunger fast. We may all have to get our camping gear ready for the big task ahead.

Like what China did with its population of over one and a half billion, it might be necessary for people worldwide to head for the farms too and help in the production of food for the world’s ever-increasing population. Everyone, equipped with sufficient kid camping gear and staying out in the fields helping in the planting and harvesting of crops in massive farming projects, can do his or her share in the fight-against-hunger movement. Even kids who are not in school anyway can also help; they will even enjoy the experience living in their own child tent side by side with the adults.  

There is therefore a big market for child tents that will develop as soon as these massive food production projects start rolling. Life outdoors will be quite enjoyable for the kids knowing how energetic and adventurous they can be, once released to the big outdoors. It will be fun for the innocent kids who may not really understand the seriousness of the situation.
 
When the ice caps in the North and South Polar Regions melt due to the rise in temperature, there is no telling what the future summers or winters will be like. While there are still the warmer months now when we can plant food, we might as well plant big so we can store extra food for the cold months ahead. Nobody can be sure now as to how long those cold months will last until people can do some agriculture again. It is best to maximize food production while the world still can in these summer months; when the winter months come around we are not quite sure yet if indeed, we can have enough food.

China suffered mass starvation and hunger especially during the winter months before they thought of mobilizing everyone to help in the farms in producing enough food surpluses for their people. They might still be doing this until now since there is hardly any mention of problems in food in China now.

The world has enough men of talents to forestall maybe worldwide starvation. The present generations will not allow themselves to go hungry, knowing how advanced we are now in fields like Information Technology. It should be easy to mobilize everyone to pack his or her kid tent camping and take off for the boondocks for the mission of producing food for the whole world. This seems to be the scenario that what will happen in the coming months and years.
