Boys love to do mischeivous things with their friends by showing off and trying to outdo each other. Exploring, climbing trees, telling made up stories about adventures that never happened, torturing girls, and many other things are what boys think are the excitement in life. You can help your son outdo his friends in planning a campout sleepover at your house with kids camping gear.
Plan for the night, if there are several boys, by telling the boys that they need to bring a kids camping tent (if they have one) for two or three boys. With your son having his own Coleman kids tents. The kids camping tents whether they are kids dome camping tents or regular kids camping tents are designed to sleep from two to three children, so it would be fun for your son to invite several friends so that they can have fun seeing several tents setup close to each other. This is a great idea for having the boys work together to setup their tents in teams, with parental guidance so that they are properly intact.
The next part is have each boy bring their kids camping gear such as Coleman kids sleeping bags or kids sleeping air mattress for comfort on the ground sleeping, their kids flashlights for telling their scary stories to one another at night for more excitement for their enjoyable night, and kids lanterns for being able to see in the dark at night for going to the restroom or for getting around at night.
They can have a time of adult supervised cookout by roasting hotdogs or preparing s´mores over a campfire and (just make sure that it is properly put out after use for safety reasons.
If they have them, each boy can bring along their Coleman kids items like their own binoculars for exploring, Coleman nature view finders, or other fun things that they use to do some night searches for creepycrawlers or for finding interesting things. They can make a game out of it by seeing who can find the most things or most distinct thing or with binoculars they can play “I spy”. When properly supervised and planned this can be the “talk amongst the boys” and their friends when they return to school, as the best sleepover in the summer, and your son will feel the proudest knowing that his campout sleepover was the best, when they explain that they had kids camping gear made for them and letting them feel like grown ups when they share what they did. |
