Outdoor Child Tent

Many people think that it is important to take exotic vacations with their children or go to the ocean or sightseeing in different states.  But sometimes you are in a situation that is not convenient for going away for vacation.  At times you just can´t afford such a trip.  It is so important that you do take some time to be with your children, giving them your undivided attention because they deserve one of the best gifts that they could ever receive and that is you.  You can work all year and do so many things that sometimes you can get carried away by your work and your children have to understand that dad and mom are working to take care of them, but money can´t buy love and they will one day grow up and you missed the chance to be with them.  Here are some ideas to help you organize an at home vacation. 

First, when you have spare money throughout the year you can buy kids camping gear.  Camping gear can be anywhere from Coleman kids tents, kids sleeping bags, even kids camping gear backpacks filled with the or air mattress their camping gear,   kids lanterns or flashlights, kids beach chairs to even swim suits, and emergency lights.  You can find these sometimes on sale or most of these things will be affordable even if its not reduced price or liquidation.  The best time of the year to find kids camping gear is after the season is over which means that you need to plan in advance.

When you find that you can´t go away on vacation you should take the week off that you planned for going away and have an at home vacation.  You might say what is a home vacation.  You can plan to camp out in your own back yard.  Set a small tent up for yourself and kids tents for your children so they can have a feeling of what it would be like to camp out.  Have them prepare their kids sleeping bag in their tent for when it´s  time to go to bed.  Light the kids lanterns and if you want regular lanterns to give it the feel of a real campout and have a marshmallow roast over the grill or if its not to dry outside you can make a small camp fire (just be careful to wet it out so that no accident takes place.  You should sit around the fire and tell scary stories or ask each person to share their favorite memories of the past.  It is so much fun for children when they have camping gear for kids this makes them feel special and it is so much fun for them.  They are sure to have this memory as one of their favorite memories throughout their lives. 

Each day you can continue your camping trip by having a good ole cookout.  For children it is exciting to eat hamburgers and hotdogs.  And if you want to do something else with them in the day have them bring along their kids camping backpack with things that make them feel like they are still having fun camping or exploring.  You can take them to the zoo, or to fun places for them and you should take them to a park and have them imagine that they are in the woods with their camping gear and looking for wild animals, different types of rocks, insects,etc...  You might even have them bring along their kids sleeping bags or other camping gear  to have the feeling of the real way of camping.  If you want to make it educational at night when you are camping again encourage them to talk about the things that they learned during the day. 

If you have a pool or want to make it more fun buy them some inflatable pool toys or there are inflatable kids water toys that can be set up in your own back yard and using a sprinkler or if it is a kids inflatable water toy that can be filled with water ahead of time, fill it up and let the kids have fun imagining that they are at the lake or the ocean.  This will be a wonderful vacation for them. Having the right kids camping gear makes the difference.
