Check Up the Kids’ Sleeping Bags

Sleeping outdoors is one leisure activity the kids love so much they would never tire of it even if you allow them to do so every weekend out in your yard. This is something that is an endless topic among the children whether in school or just about anywhere, when they get a chance to meet and exchange stories of their experiences. You are leaving for your summer campout in three weeks so now is the time to check on the family’s camping gear, especially the sleeping bags.

The kids camping gear are the most used of all the camping gear of the children because they have been holding their own little camping even just in your patio. Your boys are especially proud of their experience sleeping out in the patio during the winter months with their tents and sleeping gear, of course using also the portable heaters to give them the warmth during those cold months in winter.

Your two boys are especially boastful of their experience since their girl classmates could not stop wondering at their braveness in venturing out in the very cold nights in winter sleeping only in tents. The girls especially are allergic to the cold outside, knowing that they can very well sleep indoors in the comfort of their homes. Even with kid tent camping warm enough to assure them of a good night’s sleep, the girls still prefer staying indoors.

Your kids enjoyed telling the story you created at that time while sleeping with your kids out in the patio to tease their girl classmates by saying that the Eskimo girls they slept with in their tents were much braver and warmer than they are. The girls reacted in horror to this story, imagining how their very young boy classmates were already sleeping with Eskimo girls in their very young years.

Your boys of course were just following your instructions as an imaginative Dad, to tell those stories about the Eskimo girls in jest, so the other boys in your kids' class would talk to their dads to follow your example of using the kids camping supplies and camping out in the cold with the Eskimo girls.

You got all kinds of phone calls from the curious fathers of the other boys inquiring what kind of girls you were sleeping with in your patio campouts last winter. You assured them that it was not cold at all sleeping outdoors with  the portable heaters you used, plus the Eskimo girls out there who kept you warm and cozy in your tent. Anyway, the experience really was no big thing since you have all the camping gear to use even in those cold winter months.

You remember reporting to the principal’s office at that time because he and the teacher of your two boys wanted to know all about the story then making the rounds of the school on the Eskimo girls in your patio. The two men had a good laugh when you told them that it was just your way of checking out the reliability of your coleman kids and the Eskimo girls were just used to tease the other dads of the classmates of your kids. What a way to check op on the kids’ camping gear!
